Call for Technical Presentations at International Seminar on Machining Technologies
Coninciding with IMTEX 2019 : 26 January 2019, Bangalore, India

In conjunction with IMTEX 2019, the IMTMA (Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association) is scheduling an "International Seminar on Machining Technologies" on 26th January 2019, with the underlying theme "Powering Manufacturing Growth and Competitiveness".

This event is recognized as an international platform for global interactions on the latest trends in metal cutting manufacturing solutions. The objective of this International Seminar is to present latest technological developments in Machining, which users can adopt in their production process successfully. Through this International Seminar, the IMTMA is intending to cover the more pertinent aspects of metal-cutting processes, its requirement in the manufacturing industry and the technology gaps that can be bridged. This Seminar will focus on 5 key technology areas:

Machine tools & machining
Work Holding, Tools & Tooling
Metrology, Control Systems
CAD/CAM & Automation
Emerging Trends and Grinding & Finishing Process

The expected audience for the International Seminar will consist of 500 delegates from a wide cross section of the metal working industry: Automotive & Auto component, Aerospace, Defense & Railways, Machine tools, Tool Rooms, Consumer durables and General Engineering. Participants will comprise of decision makers including CEOs, Senior Executives, R&D Specialists, Industry experts and Practicing engineers.

The IMTMA has cordially invited members of AMT to send presentations on any of the 5 key focus areas mentioned above. They are confident that the technical experts from each of our participating exhibitors will be in a position to decide an appropriate subject of the presentation.

Only contracted exhibitor within the AMT/USA Pavilion is eligible to submit their paper for consideration in the seminar.

The IMTMA will accept and review all submitted abstracts beginning in October of 2018.
